Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – An explosion occurred on a national oil pipeline belonging to Mexico's state of Oaxaca on the 10th local time, killing at least three people and injuring six others.
Oaxaca Governor Salomon Jara stated via social media that the accident occurred in El Bario de la Soledda, on the Tehuantepec Isthmus, and that he had ordered all necessary assistance to be provided.
According to the Mexican newspaper El Universal, the pipeline was undergoing routine internal cleaning and maintenance work at the time of the explosion.
Currently, the injured have been hospitalized, and relevant departments are still conducting safety control, risk assessment, and area security work at the accident site.
Reuters reported that Mexico's national oil company, Pemex, has not yet responded to requests for comment. (End)
