  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On February 1st local time, US President Trump, when answering questions about Iran, stated his hope that "an agreement can be reached."

  According to reports, Trump also responded to Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei's warning that a US strike would trigger a regional war, saying that if an agreement cannot be reached, "then we'll see if he (Khamenei) is right."

  Trump emphasized that the US has deployed "the world's largest and most powerful ships, very close" to the region.

  As previously reported, the US has recently continued to pressure Iran, deploying multiple warships, including an aircraft carrier, in the Middle East and threatening military intervention. US President Trump recently stated that Iran is engaging in "serious" dialogue with the US.

  Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi stated that Iran "remains confident" of reaching an agreement with the US on the nuclear issue. He said that communication through friendly regional countries is driving contact between the two sides, and that the negotiations are "productive." Araghchi reiterated that Iran hopes the US will lift long-standing sanctions while respecting Iran's right to continue uranium enrichment within the framework of peaceful nuclear energy.

  A senior US official revealed that the Trump administration has made it clear to Iran through multiple channels that the US is willing to hold meetings to negotiate an agreement.
