Latest data shows that on the 25th, over 10,000 flights were still canceled across the country.

  As of noon that day, over 900,000 customers across the US were without power due to the massive winter storm, with the southern states of Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas being the most severely affected. The number of customers without power is still increasing.

  Several states across the US remain under a state of emergency, and 28,500 flights have been affected. The latest data from a US flight tracking website shows that as of noon on the 25th, 10,485 flights had been canceled nationwide. Washington Reagan National Airport had a cancellation rate close to 100%, and New York LaGuardia Airport had a cancellation rate exceeding 90%.

  The National Weather Service previously forecast that this massive winter storm would sweep across most of the United States starting on the 23rd, bringing widespread heavy snowfall, sleet, freezing rain, and extreme cold, which would continue until the 25th. The National Weather Service estimated that more than 160 million Americans would be affected and warned that the severe cold could be deadly.
