Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) learned on the 25th local time that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov stated that Russia did indeed extend an invitation to President Trump to visit the Russian Federation in Anchorage.

Ryabkov stated that during the Anchorage meeting, Russian President Putin proposed that the next Russia-US summit be held in Moscow, but this proposal has not made any substantial progress since then.

Ryabkov emphasized that regardless of where the meeting between the two leaders is held, Russia's position remains unchanged: the substantive content of the talks should be clarified first, and then the venue should be determined.

Furthermore, when answering a media question about whether Russia would be willing to provide asylum to Maduro if he were released, Ryabkov stated, "The first step, and the prerequisite for everything else, is the release of Maduro and his wife. Since this kidnapping (of the president of a sovereign nation) has occurred, we must firmly demand the release of the Venezuelan president."
