Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On January 6th local time, US President Trump announced that the Venezuelan interim government would transfer 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the United States. This oil will be sold at market prices, and the proceeds will be overseen by Trump to ensure that the funds are used "for the benefit of the Venezuelan and American people."

Trump stated that he has instructed Energy Secretary Chris Wright to immediately implement this plan. The oil will be loaded onto storage tankers and transported directly to US unloading terminals.

Currently, Venezuela has not made an official statement on this matter.

On January 3rd, the United States launched a large-scale military strike against Venezuela, raiding the capital Caracas, forcibly taking President Maduro and his wife into custody and deporting them. Trump also stated that day that the United States would "manage" Venezuela until a "safe" transition is implemented.

Subsequently, Trump also stated that he would allow major US oil companies to invest in Venezuela, rebuild oil infrastructure, and "generate revenue" for the United States. This statement further reveals the US's attempt to seize Venezuela's oil resources. Sources revealed that Trump plans to convene executives from major US oil companies on the 8th to discuss increasing Venezuelan oil production.
