Food prepared by the restaurant recently caused a mass food poisoning incident, with 113 people experiencing symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea.
According to a report from the local health department, the restaurant reported on the afternoon of the 15th that several customers felt unwell after consuming its takeout food. An investigation confirmed that the problematic food was prepared by the restaurant between the 12th and 13th of this month. Norovirus was detected in some of the consumers, and the relevant departments have determined this to be a norovirus-related food poisoning incident.
The local health department decided to impose a three-day suspension penalty on the restaurant, starting from the 20th.
