Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On November 24, the 15th meeting of the China-Yunnan-Northern Laos Cooperation Working Group was held in Vientiane, Laos.
The meeting, themed "Deepening the Construction of the Economic Belt Along the Railway and Unblocking the Golden Corridor," comprehensively reviewed and summarized the cooperation achievements between Yunnan Province and the 10 provinces of Northern Laos over the past year, as well as the operation of the working group. It focused on the results achieved in the comprehensive development cooperation along the China-Laos Railway and clarified the future direction, path, and key tasks of Yunnan-Laos cooperation.
Hu Dapeng, Standing Committee Member of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and Sonthan Sayasone, Executive Vice Chairman of the Laos-China Cooperation Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Both sides jointly signed the meeting minutes.
This meeting was jointly hosted by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government and the Laos-China Cooperation Committee. Prior to the meeting, the heads of the Chinese and Lao delegations met and exchanged in-depth views on cooperation ideas and prospects.
