
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Officials in Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, recently announced that the high-speed railway from Nanning to Pingxiang – the location of the Friendship Pass border crossing with Vietnam – will be fully operational in December.
This information was revealed by Chongzuo Mayor Chi Wei at a recent press conference.
The railway is 81.522 kilometers long, designed for a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. It starts at Nanchongzuo Station, passes through Ningming County and Longzhou County, and terminates at Pingxiang East Station in Pingxiang City.
This is the second high-speed railway in Guangxi to directly connect cities on the China-Vietnam border, following the Fangchenggang-Dongxing railway. (End)
