South Korea reports outbreak of African swine fever; government issues "serious" crisis alert.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – South Korea's Central African Swine Fever (ASF) Emergency Response Headquarters reported on the 25th that an ASF outbreak had occurred at a pig farm in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province. The Central Emergency Response Headquarters raised the nationwide ASF crisis alert level to "serious" on the 25th.

  The report stated that the affected farm houses 463 pigs. This ASF outbreak is the second such outbreak in South Korea this year, following an outbreak in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province in September.
