  According to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, the accident occurred near the Royal Institute of Technology during rush hour. The bus continued forward for 25 to 30 meters after hitting the bus stop, striking several people in the process.

  Police have not yet released the gender and age of the deceased, and stated that identification is underway. Reports indicate that the bus was not in operation and had no passengers on board at the time of the accident.

  According to Reuters, police stated that there is no information indicating that the accident was an attack.

  Police spokeswoman Nadia Norton told AFP that a manslaughter investigation has been launched and the bus driver has been arrested.
