Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – From November 7th to 10th, 2025, border posts in Lang Son Province, together with Chinese border troops and local governments in border areas of Lang Son Province, jointly conducted a legal education campaign for border residents.
Law enforcement agencies distributed thousands of informational materials to residents, covering topics such as agreements and protocols on border management and protection; the Agreement on the Management System of the Vietnam-China Land Border; regulations on entry and exit, import and export, and port management; combating smuggling and commercial fraud; and the importance of consolidating national territorial sovereignty and border security management.

Lieutenant Colonel Wei Wenkui, Deputy Political Commissar of the Tan Thanh Border Post of the Lang Son Provincial Border Troops, stated that the legal education campaign helps border residents understand and master newly promulgated laws and regulations. In particular, the Tan Thanh border crossing currently sees an average of about 1,000 people processing entry and exit procedures daily, making the promotion of entry and exit and import/export laws and regulations especially important. We hope that through such activities, border residents of both countries will consciously develop an awareness of strictly abiding by the law.
The border residents' legal awareness campaign aimed to respond to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam's Law Day (November 9th); strengthen exchanges and cooperation between law enforcement agencies of both sides; and jointly build a peaceful, friendly, and developing border region. (End)
