Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Recently, a training course to enhance fire and rescue skills for participants from Laos, Malaysia, and Thailand commenced at the National Fire and Rescue Bureau's Water Rescue (Zhaotong) Training Base. Forty-six trainees began a 12-day training program in water and rope rescue techniques to further improve their emergency response capabilities and skills.
The training courses were tailored to the specific needs and geographical characteristics of each country. Trainees from Thailand and Laos primarily focused on water rescue techniques, covering theory, individual and team skills, and motorboat maintenance, aiming to improve their emergency response and handling capabilities for maritime accidents. Malaysian trainees concentrated on rope rescue techniques, including knot making, anchor point construction, force-multiplying system construction, diagrammatic marking, and individual drills, enhancing their emergency rescue capabilities in complex urban and wilderness terrains.
The training curriculum closely integrates real-world disaster scenarios, emphasizing technical applicability, coordination, and safety. All instructors are frontline commanders from the Yunnan Fire and Rescue Team, possessing solid theoretical foundations and extensive practical experience.
