Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Hebei International Land Port Co., Ltd. announced on the 23rd that 200 45-foot diesel-electric integrated refrigerated containers, commissioned by Hebei International Land Port Co., Ltd. and developed by CRRC Shijiazhuang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., have recently completed acceptance and delivery in Kunming and will be put into use for cold chain logistics transportation on the China-Laos freight train.
The refrigerated containers delivered this time are high-end domestically produced equipment specially developed by CRRC Shijiazhuang Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. for cross-border cold chain logistics. The containers are equipped with domestically produced refrigeration units, innovatively adopting a dual-compressor, bottom-discharge air design, and equipped with an automatic fresh air system. Relying on an "end-to-end" intelligent operation and maintenance platform, it can realize real-time monitoring and remote management of key data such as cargo location, temperature, humidity, and fresh air supply. The temperature control is precise, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly, technically solving the industry pain points of easy loss and difficulty in preserving tropical fresh produce during long-distance transportation.
In recent years, the demand for tropical fresh produce from Southeast Asia in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has continued to rise. The China-Laos Railway, as a crucial channel for Southeast Asian fruits to enter the Chinese market, has placed higher demands on the performance of cross-border cold chain equipment and the efficiency of logistics operations. As the main entity responsible for the construction, management, and operation of the Shijiazhuang International Land Port, Hebei International Land Port Co., Ltd. has partnered with local high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises to conduct customized cooperation, promoting the precise adaptation of cold chain equipment to cross-border logistics scenarios.
"Currently, the Shijiazhuang International Land Port has over 500 refrigerated containers, fully leveraging the advantages of its self-owned containers in the flexible application of cold chain logistics along the China-Laos Railway," said the head of Hebei International Land Port Co., Ltd. The new equipment not only effectively ensures the quality and safety of tropical fruits during long-distance transportation but also significantly reduces overall logistics costs. Simultaneously, these refrigerated containers will also serve the export of high-quality Chinese vegetables to Southeast Asia, contributing to a virtuous cycle of two-way trade in cross-border fresh agricultural products.
