Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The special exhibition "The Road of Revolution – Comrade Ho Chi Minh in China" officially opened on December 23 at the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
The exhibition, supported by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Chongqing, was jointly planned and presented by the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum, the Guangdong Revolutionary History Museum, the Ho Chi Minh Museum of Vietnam, and several Vietnamese and Chinese cultural institutions. Consul General Bui Nguyen Long of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Chongqing, Xu Guangxu, Party Secretary of the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History and Culture Center (Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum), and Feng Zimin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition is divided into four parts: "Shared Ideals: Pioneering Spirit in Establishing the Organization," "Profound Gratitude: Shared Hatred in Resisting Foreign Aggression," "Spiritual Relationship: Mutual Support and Close Ties," and "Enduring Affection: The Light of Friendship, Composing a Glorious Chapter." Through more than 230 historical photos and archival photographs, it vividly recreates the glorious history of Ho Chi Minh fighting side by side with the Southern Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Eighth Route Army offices in various regions during the War of Resistance Against Japan.
In his speech at the exhibition, Consul General Bui Nguyen Long emphasized that this exhibition is an important event commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, and coinciding with the deepening of the "Vietnam-China Year of Cultural Exchange." It fully demonstrates the good-neighborly and friendly relations carefully cultivated, consolidated, and developed by leaders of both countries throughout history. He stated that through this exhibition, the people of both countries, especially the younger generation, will gain a deeper understanding of the glorious history of the traditional friendship between Vietnam and China, forged by the revolutionary predecessors of both countries during difficult times.
During the exhibition, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Chongqing and the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum jointly launched the "Comrades and Brothers" Macchiato, a cultural and creative coffee drink symbolizing revolutionary friendship. This coffee uses Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee beans from Vietnam and water buffalo milk from Guangxi, China, and is named after Ho Chi Minh's famous saying, "The friendship between Vietnam and China is deep, comrades and brothers," using a cultural and creative form to inherit the revolutionary friendship between the two countries.
