Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 2026 Beijing Rural Charm Baking + Tea & Coffee Culture Promotion Event, themed "Sunlight Baking & Cloud Valley Tea & Coffee," kicked off on the 19th at the Sunlight Valley Scenic Area in Miyun District, Beijing.

This year, Miyun District, Beijing, launched its new city brand "Come to Miyun to See the Sea," with Sunlight Valley being one of its popular scenic spots. The event featured a variety of interactive experiences, including a "Sunlight Baking Area," a "Cloud Valley Tea & Coffee Area," a "Co-creation Market Area," and a "Valley Fun Party," offering a rich array of fun activities. These included skill competitions, hands-on workshops, product sales, and leisure performances, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the new look of rural industries and the new joys of rural life in the outskirts of Beijing.

A kiln-baking showcase was a major highlight of the event, with over 20 high-quality bakeries gathering together. The rich aroma of wheat filled the valley, attracting visitors to sample and purchase kiln-baked bread, handmade pizzas, multigrain pastries, and other specialty foods for free. The Rural Baking Master Competition is also in full swing, with teams composed of baking professionals and rural baking enthusiasts competing and showcasing their skills. The competition ultimately awarded three major prizes: the "Sunlight's Finest Flavor Award," the "Seascape's Splendor Award," and the "Valleyside Creativity Award." An awards ceremony was held on-site, and outstanding entries were displayed.

The market area was bustling with activity, showcasing a wide variety of goods. The Miyun Local Products Specialty Area featured over 20 booths, neatly displaying specialty agricultural products, cultural and creative products, and folk handicrafts, attracting many citizens to shop. Exhibitors from Kulun Banner in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and Huguan County in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, both counterpart cooperation units of Miyun District, also participated, bringing their local specialty agricultural products.

A relevant official from the Beijing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Publicity Center stated that this event leveraged the popularity of the "Come to Miyun to See the Sea" brand, transforming "sea-viewing" traffic into incremental development. It showcased the achievements of the baking, tea, and coffee industries in the Beijing suburbs, attracting urban visitors to the countryside and integrating scenic beauty into new consumption scenarios, creating a dual-themed IP of "Come to Miyun to See the Sea + Visit the Miyun Market."

The official added that Beijing will next fully implement the "Beijing Municipal 15th Five-Year Plan for Promoting Agricultural and Rural Modernization," promoting the "Artistic Enrichment of Rural Areas" initiative in the suburbs, adhering to city-district collaboration, jointly creating distinctive cultural activity brands, and fostering more new industrial forms and consumption scenarios in the Beijing suburbs.
