This year's exhibition marks the 20th anniversary of this annual international tourism event in Vietnam.
According to reports, this year's exhibition features a comprehensive array of core activities, including an integrated online and offline exhibition, digital platform business negotiations (B2B), a "Vietnam Night" themed event, an opening ceremony, a special international media promotion plan, key source market promotion meetings, a tourism trend forum, and a tourism consumption day open to the public.
In addition to the core agenda, the organizing committee will also simultaneously host a Food Week, a Fashion Week, and a Digital Tourism Week, deeply exploring and focusing on Ho Chi Minh City's cultural and tourism advantages and urban characteristics, further enriching the exhibition's content and enhancing the overall attractiveness of ITE HCMC 2026.
This year's exhibition has achieved a dual upgrade in scale and quality: on the one hand, the exhibition space has been expanded, providing more ample venues for exhibitors to showcase tourism products and conduct B2B matchmaking, empowering exchanges with a professional and modern presentation throughout; on the other hand, the digital exhibition model has been vigorously promoted, actively applying cutting-edge information technology to create an immersive modern experience for exhibitors and visitors. Meanwhile, the organizing committee requires all exhibitors to focus on their core strengths, highlighting products and projects that showcase the image of Ho Chi Minh City and the characteristics of its local tourism industry, helping to solidify the exhibition's brand value and image positioning, aligning it with Ho Chi Minh City's status as a leading tourism economy city in the country.
Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai stated that the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will continue to collaborate with relevant units to finalize an exhibition theme that is both in-depth and developmentally meaningful. The theme will closely follow the trend of green and sustainable tourism, highlighting Ho Chi Minh City's core advantages in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, further consolidating the city's core position as Vietnam's leading international event, conference, and exhibition center.
