  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On December 17, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command in Vietnam successfully disposed of a MK81 bomb weighing over 150 kilograms, ensuring the absolute safety of personnel and equipment.

  Previously, during a historic flood in Khanh Hoa province, the floodwaters washed away the sand, exposing a bomb buried in the yard of a family home in Khanh Vinh commune. Local residents discovered it and immediately reported it to the local government and military.

  Upon receiving the report, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command immediately directed the sealing off of the site, organized the evacuation of residents from the danger zone, and dispatched engineering troops to dispose of the bomb according to procedures.

  The successful disposal of this war remnant bomb not only protected the lives and property of the people but also demonstrated the sense of responsibility, professionalism, and initiative of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Armed Forces in war remnant cleanup and disaster prevention and mitigation work, making a positive contribution to maintaining local security and order.
