Among them, 42 citizens had escaped from an online fraud ring in Oddar Meanchey Province, Cambodia.
Investigation and verification confirmed that the 63 citizens came from 24 provinces and cities across the country, including 59 men and 4 women, aged between 16 and 44.
After completing the reception procedures, the citizens underwent health checks and initial medical care, received food and drinking water, and then provided statements to the authorities.

Upon arrival, their mobile phones and identification documents were confiscated, they were forced to work without pay, and were unable to contact their families. Those who disobeyed were threatened, beaten, and even sold like commodities to other locations.
