Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Amidst the peak travel season of the Spring Festival return trip and off-peak travel, the "Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Yinchuan" 2026 Yinchuan City Commerce, Culture, Tourism and Wine Spring Festival Welcome Event officially kicked off at Yinchuan Airport on February 15th. This two-day event, centered on wine tasting, agricultural product exhibitions and sales, and a Spring Festival flash mob, transformed the transportation hub into a warm "city cultural living room," vividly showcasing Yinchuan's vibrant development integrating commerce, culture, tourism, agriculture and wine.
The event was filled with warmth, with dancers in traditional costumes and tourism promoters weaving among travelers, conveying a rich festive atmosphere through interactive performances. "I tasted hot milk and fragrant wine as soon as I got off the plane, and I also saw a Ningxia-style performance. It felt so thoughtful!" said Lu Yuetong, a tourist from Chengdu, Sichuan, smiling. She added that this "experience upon arrival" event instantly relieved her travel fatigue. In the exhibition area, Helan Mountain East Foothills wines, Ningxia goji berries, and other "Yinchuan specialties" were showcased. Freshly brewed milk, nourishing eight-treasure tea, and popular jujube beer filled the air with their aromas, creating an immersive experience where visitors could "see, taste, and take home." "After working away from home for many years, the wine from my hometown is still the best!" exclaimed Zheng Jiarui, a traveler returning home, after tasting the wine. He added that such activities made his journey home even more festive.
It is understood that this airport welcome event is an important initiative for promoting the "Come to Yinchuan for the Spring Festival" brand and a vivid example of Yinchuan's exploration of the deep integration of "commerce, culture, tourism, agriculture, sports, and wine." During the Spring Festival, Yinchuan has launched 184 New Year consumption promotion activities and distributed 3.5 million yuan in cultural and tourism consumption vouchers to fully activate the winter cultural and tourism market. "We will continue to deepen the integration of culture and tourism, enrich the supply of tourism products, improve service quality, and strive to transform the 'traffic' of culture and tourism into 'retention,' so that more tourists will fall in love with Yinchuan and stay in Yinchuan," said a relevant official from the Yinchuan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television.
