Halimulati Mamuti, Standing Committee Member of the First Division of the XPCC Alar City Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Mu Xirong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Taizhou Municipal Aid-Xinjiang Command and Vice Mayor of Alar City, attended and delivered speeches. More than 100 people, including relevant officials from the XPCC, the First Division of the XPCC Alar City and relevant departments, township and street leaders, representatives of aid-Xinjiang cadres, representatives of ethnic unity models, and representatives of Taizhou entrepreneurs in Xinjiang, gathered at the event to discuss the path to harmony, promote ethnic unity, and pool resources for national rejuvenation.
Halimulati Mamuti emphasized that the "harmony and unity" culture, as a treasure of excellent traditional Chinese culture, embodies the value orientation of "valuing harmony and moderation," "harmony without uniformity," "working together in harmony," and "harmonious coexistence" among diverse subjects. It is a crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese nation in handling ethnic relations, family-state relations, and even the relationship between humanity and nature. It is not a simple unification that eliminates differences, but rather shaping "unity" while respecting "diversity," and pursuing "harmony and unity" while acknowledging "differences." This cultural gene has been deeply ingrained in the blood of the Chinese nation, providing rich ideological nourishment and strong spiritual support for forging a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation and promoting the construction of a community with a shared future. It is necessary to systematically explore and utilize the cultural resources of "harmony and unity," creatively transforming and innovatively developing them to guide cadres and the masses of all ethnic groups to firmly establish the concept of a community with a shared future, shared honor and disgrace, shared life and death, and shared destiny, thus laying a solid ideological foundation for social stability and long-term peace and security in Xinjiang.
Mu Xirong pointed out that empowering the forging of a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation with the culture of harmony and unity is the core practical direction of Taizhou's aid to Xinjiang. In recent years, the Taizhou Municipal Aid-to-Xinjiang Command has consistently adhered to the principles and core spirit of "harmonious coexistence, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and harmony giving rise to life" as its fundamental guideline. This has been organically integrated and comprehensively applied to all areas and processes of its counterpart aid work in Xinjiang, promoting harmony to benefit, revitalize, strengthen, enrich, integrate, and educate Xinjiang, thus building a solid bridge of mutual support and harmonious coexistence between Taizhou and Azerbaijan. The Taizhou Municipal Aid-to-Xinjiang Command will take strengthening the sense of community of the Chinese nation as its main focus, comprehensively and deeply carrying out the "Harmony Culture Enriching Xinjiang" project, promoting in-depth cooperation between the two regions in areas such as cultural heritage, improvement of people's livelihoods, and industrial collaboration, and taking pragmatic actions to solidify the ideological and practical foundation of the sense of community of the Chinese nation.
During the event, the "Harmony Hall for Strengthening the Sense of Community of the Chinese Nation" was officially opened, the "Initiative for Strengthening the Sense of Community of the Chinese Nation" was read out, and the 2026 "Harmony Pomegranate Seed" public welfare aid-to-Xinjiang program, which provides assistance and comfort to 100 people in need, was launched.
