Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – To celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, a cultural exchange event titled "A Night of Acrobatics," hosted by the Liaoning Association of France, was held in Paris on the evening of the 17th. Approximately 2,500 people, including representatives from the political, cultural, and tourism sectors of China and France, as well as overseas Chinese in France, attended the event.
Chinese Ambassador to France Deng Li, former Chairman of the France-China Friendship Group of the French National Assembly, Alain Aloza, and Assistant Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization, Marie-Pierre Boucher-Hollier, were among the Chinese and French guests present at the event.
The evening's performance was primarily presented by the 170-year-old French Pinder Grand Circus, featuring acrobatic artists from 14 countries. The performance opened with a lively circus dance, showcasing classic European circus skills such as high-altitude balancing, rollerblading spins, shoulder ballet, and motorcycle stunts, eliciting rounds of applause from the audience. The performance also incorporated several Chinese song and dance acts, reflecting the cultural exchange between China and France.
Alexandre Edelstein, director of the French Pinder Grand Circus, stated that the performance was not only a high-level artistic presentation but also a cultural exchange activity symbolizing friendship, dialogue, and peace, vividly demonstrating the mutual appreciation and respect between the people of France and China.
Ao Ran, president of the Liaoning Association of France, expressed in his speech that he hoped to use the power of art and culture to call for peace, convey hope, and send a shared message to the world to cherish peace and safeguard friendship. He said that the trust, cooperation, courage, and beauty displayed in acrobatics are a vivid portrayal of common human values. The Liaoning Association of France will continue to play its role as a bridge and link, actively serving the overseas Chinese community in France, continuously promoting cultural exchanges and people-to-people cooperation between China and France, and contributing from the people to the healthy and stable development of Sino-French relations.
The entire event concluded successfully in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Chinese and French guests unanimously wished for the enduring friendship between the two countries and looked forward to the continued fruitful results of Sino-French cultural exchanges. (End)
