  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and digital travel platform Agoda have established a strategic partnership to upgrade the "Trusted Thailand" program, linking the public and private sectors to improve the safety, service quality, and tourist trust in Thailand's tourism ecosystem.

  The "Trusted Thailand" framework will certify travel agencies that meet standards in safety measures, secure payment, multilingual communication, and convenient transportation. The collaboration focuses on three main areas: increasing program awareness, enhancing tourist trust, and expanding access to reliable travel information.

  Key initiatives include: launching a dedicated "Trusted Thailand" page on the Agoda platform (www.agoda.com/trustedThailand) in early December 2025, showcasing TAT-certified accommodations; and gradually rolling out the certification mark on participating accommodations' pages, prioritizing the Chinese-speaking market. Simultaneously, leveraging TAT's official resources, a multilingual safe travel guide (including English and three Chinese languages, totaling nine languages) will be developed, initially focusing on flood-related information and later expanding to more safety topics. Users can access this guide through Agoda city guides and QR codes.

  Thapane Kiatpaipur, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, stated that this collaboration will allow Agoda to reach a vast number of tourists, enhancing their confidence through clear certifications and transparent information, and contributing to the long-term high-quality development of Thailand's tourism industry. Agoda's Chief Commercial Officer, Damien Pfirsch, said that by promoting certified partners and offering exclusive discounts, tourists can enjoy high-value travel experiences in Thailand with peace of mind.

  This collaboration leverages Agoda's global user reach to strengthen the trust of tourists in the Asia-Pacific market, increase the exposure of certified travel agencies, and further solidify Thailand's position as a safe and high-quality travel destination.
