  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – In response to a murder case that occurred in Phnom Penh's Chamkarmon district on August 29, the Phnom Penh Municipal Police's Major Crimes Unit, in close cooperation with Chamkarmon police, successfully identified and arrested a Congolese female suspect 17 hours after the incident.

  According to police sources, the victim was 34-year-old British woman HOPKINS JESSICA CARIAD, and the suspect is 33-year-old Congolese woman KIDIKILA NGANDA GLODIE.

  The incident occurred at approximately 11:40 PM on August 29 in the Bassac River communaling area of ​​Chamkarmon district, where the suspect stabbed the victim to death.

  Police immediately launched an in-depth investigation. After a 17-hour pursuit and investigation, the Major Crimes Unit and Chamkarmon police successfully apprehended the suspect at 4:30 PM on August 30 on Street 200, Van Rae communing area, Daun Penh district.

  According to preliminary interrogation, the suspect confessed that her motive stemmed from a complex love triangle.

  The female suspect has been transferred to the Phnom Penh Police Department, and the case is under further investigation.
