Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Office of the People's Government of Datian County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, released a statement on August 22nd, stating that at approximately 11:00 PM on August 21st, the Shuijingkeng Coal Mine of Fujian Guangfeng Mining Co., Ltd. reported that some workers were missing underground.
Upon receiving the report, rescue teams rushed to the scene immediately to conduct rescue operations. At 4:10 AM on August 22nd, after an all-out search and rescue effort, one injured worker escaped on their own, while the seven trapped miners were brought to the surface, all without vital signs. The on-site emergency rescue operation has concluded.
Currently, the aftermath handling work is fully underway, and the cause of the incident is under further investigation. (End)
