Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) At approximately 8:30 AM on the 6th, continuous heavy rains in Guangzhou triggered a landslide, damaging houses and trapping people in the Huangzhuang area of Dayuan Village, Dayuan Street. Multiple departments launched a joint search and rescue operation. The landslide trapped 14 people; as of now, two remain missing.
At approximately 12:40 AM on the 8th, rescuers carried the 11th trapped person out of the damaged house at the landslide site.
At approximately 6:45 AM on the 8th, after a night of digging and searching, the 12th trapped person was found at the landslide site. The trapped person was carried away from the scene on a stretcher by rescuers. (End)
