Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of February 14th, a shooting occurred in a commercial building opposite Phnom Penh International Airport. Several suspects armed with AK rifles stormed into the mall and fired three shots before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured.
According to CCTV footage, the gunmen got out of their car and quickly ran towards the commercial building, fired, and then quickly returned to their vehicle and fled. The suspects' motives are currently unclear.
The Phnom Penh Municipal Criminal Police Team, Police Department, and Military Police have launched an investigation and are conducting a full-scale investigation into the incident.
