A fire broke out in the Russey Keo district of Phnom Penh, killing four people and injuring 17, including two children.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – At 10:30 PM on the 19th, a fire broke out near Highway 777 in the Russey Keo district of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The fire affected three homes, resulting in four deaths and 17 injuries (one serious). Four firefighters involved in the rescue were also injured.

  Pho Ren, head of the Phnom Penh Police Department's Fire and Rescue Office, revealed that two children were among the victims. Following the fire, the fire department responded quickly, dispatching a total of 22 fire trucks to the scene, and successfully extinguished the blaze.

  Currently, relevant departments have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire; the specific cause is pending further verification and announcement.
