Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – From December 4th to 5th, the 2025 Annual Meeting of the China-Europe Railway Express Trade and Logistics Meteorological Service Consortium (hereinafter referred to as the "Consortium") was held in Chongqing. At the meeting, the "MAZU" nationwide early warning meteorological risk product for China-Europe Railway Express commodity transportation safety was officially launched.

This product was developed by meteorological departments in Zhejiang, Chongqing, Lianyungang, Xinjiang, and other regions, based on the China Meteorological Administration's "MAZU" nationwide early warning China solution. In addition to providing real-time weather conditions and 45-day forecasts, it focuses on more than 10 types of weather-sensitive commodities, such as imported and exported fresh produce and precision instruments, tailoring a "one-commodity-one-policy" risk warning model. It also introduces special products such as severe weather risk alerts and commodity-specific transportation calendars, initially realizing a full-process service function of "real-time monitoring + accurate forecasting + risk warning + coordinated response" for China-Europe Railway Express.

Over the past year, the consortium, focusing on the construction of a modernized China-Europe freight train distribution system, and aiming at disaster prevention and loss reduction and logistics efficiency improvement, has concentrated on risk identification, risk early warning, service technical support, and risk prevention and control. It has actively built a multi-level, comprehensive meteorological support system, and the role of meteorological support has become increasingly prominent.

For example, Lianyungang has implemented "on-the-go service" through container micro-environment observation, achieving full-process monitoring of the cargo environment during transportation; Shaanxi has upgraded its multilingual "Silk Road·Know the Sky" early weather warning and agricultural ecological meteorological service platform, serving 55 countries, including Pakistan; Chongqing has innovated the "44NN" full life-cycle early warning management system, building a meteorological service and early warning linkage system covering multimodal transport (rail, road, water, and air).

A relevant official from the Chongqing Meteorological Bureau introduced that in recent years, the Chongqing meteorological department, in conjunction with transportation, maritime, air traffic control, and railway departments, has established a "meteorology + logistics" collaborative mechanism to promote better weather forecasting and early warning along Chongqing's major opening-up channels and meteorological support for multimodal transport (rail, road, water, and air).

Next, the consortium will deepen the construction of the meteorological service system for trade and logistics from three aspects: technological innovation, mechanism improvement, and international cooperation. This will comprehensively enhance meteorological monitoring, forecasting, and early warning capabilities, and promote the extension of meteorological services to scenarios such as cross-border transportation, warehousing management, and trade decision-making, providing high-quality and efficient services to ensure the high-quality development of trade and logistics for China-Europe freight trains.
