Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – “How will digital and intelligent technologies influence the future landscape of aerospace?” “How will the deep integration of transportation and energy drive green transformation?” On November 30th, at the 2025 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Summit Forum held at Changsha University of Science and Technology, numerous experts and scholars elaborated on cutting-edge topics such as digital and intelligent aviation, aerospace, and the integration of transportation and energy, systematically interpreting how technological innovation empowers industrial transformation and high-quality development.
The summit forum, themed “Gathering Wisdom in Hunan, Creating the Future through Science and Technology,” was hosted by the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Selection Committee and organized by Changsha University of Science and Technology, with guidance from the Hunan Provincial Party Committee Talent Work Leading Group Office and the Hunan Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Duan Ruichun, Chief Representative of the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Beijing Representative Office and Secretary-General of the Selection Committee, and Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Zheng Jianlong, Wang Shafei, Xiang Jinwu, Yang Hong, Jiang Tao, Yu Zhiwu, and Feng Jianghua attended the meeting.
"I believe that green, low-carbon, and ecological air transport is an important direction for the future development of civil aviation," said Academician Xiang Jinwu at the forum. He stated that as a resource-intensive industry, civil aviation is a crucial area for building a low-environmental-impact logistics system. In his keynote speech titled "Digital Intelligence Empowerment—Characteristics and Development of Aviation Equipment in the New Era," he systematically elaborated on the application of digital intelligence technology throughout the entire lifecycle of aviation equipment, including design, manufacturing, and operation and maintenance. He analyzed the intelligent and integrated characteristics of aviation equipment in the new era and provided a forecast of future development trends.
Academician Zheng Jianlong, in his speech titled "The Development and Prospect of Transportation and Energy Integration in China," summarized the current state of transportation and energy integration in China, analyzed the industrial scale and technological advantages China has formed in new energy vehicles, power batteries, and hydrogen energy, and proposed key scientific and technological challenges that need to be addressed in the future. He stated that transportation and energy integration is an important direction for promoting the innovative development of new productivity in the transportation, energy, and transportation equipment manufacturing industries. It is essential to break down industry barriers, promote coordinated action among the three sectors, and comprehensively realize the green transformation of transportation and energy.
The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was established in 1994 by patriotic Hong Kong financiers Ho Sin-hang, Leung Kau-kui, Ho Tim, and Lee Kwok-wai. Its aim is to reward scientists and technologists who have made outstanding contributions to China's scientific and technological development and to promote scientific and technological progress and innovation in the motherland. The foundation offers three awards: the "Science and Technology Achievement Award," the "Science and Technology Progress Award," and the "Science and Technology Innovation Award," which are awarded annually.
