Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On December 1st, the Shandong section of the Yellow River will officially enter the 2025-2026 ice flood season. In response to the significant temperature fluctuations this winter and the high probability of severe temperature drops and rises, the Shandong Yellow River Conservancy Bureau has implemented multiple measures to prepare for ice flood prevention.
The Shandong Yellow River Conservancy Bureau conducted a special inspection of potential ice flood hazards at six under-construction cross-river bridges and 50 pontoon bridges within the Yellow River channel in Shandong Province, urging and guiding relevant units to formulate emergency measures. Sufficient personnel and material resources have been allocated for ice flood prevention, and technological support has been strengthened to improve monitoring accuracy. The Shandong Yellow River ice monitoring and analysis system is being continuously optimized and improved, utilizing drones, video surveillance, and other patrol methods in conjunction with manual inspections to achieve a comprehensive "sky, ground, and human" ice flood monitoring and perception system. The ice situation and hazard reporting system is also being continuously optimized to improve reporting efficiency.
