Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps announces 50 award-winning scientific and technological achievements
Among the 50 award-winning achievements, 12 won the Natural Science Award (1 first prize, 10 second prizes, and 1 third prize); 3 won the first prize in the Technological Invention Award; and 35 won the Science and Technology Progress Award (10 first prizes, 15 second prizes, and 10 third prizes).
Among them, three experts who have long been dedicated to frontline scientific research received the 2024 Xinjiang XPCC Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award for their significant breakthroughs in their respective fields. For example, in agriculture and industry, achievements such as "Changes and Regulation Mechanisms of Soil Habitat Elements under Long-Term Drip Irrigation of Cotton" and "Key Technologies and Applications of Vermiculite-Based Lead-Free Heat Stabilizers" have emerged.
To date, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) has established 8 academician workstations, 48 key laboratories, and 6 pilot-scale production bases.
In recent years, the XPCC has continuously increased its support for applied basic research and breakthroughs in key core technologies, encouraging collaborative innovation among universities, enterprises, and research institutes. This has accelerated the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, resulting in a continuous emergence of original scientific results. Technological breakthroughs are moving from laboratories to vast fields and workshops, becoming a powerful driving force for high-quality development. (End)
