The new meteorological service system for agriculture focuses on enhancing "rural meteorological disaster prevention capabilities, modern agricultural meteorological service capabilities, and meteorological support capabilities for the construction of beautiful villages," forming a more collaborative and effective system capability in Liaoning Province. Chen Lei, Deputy Secretary-General of the Panjin Municipal People's Government, stated that Panjin is making every effort to address the challenges of meteorological disasters and promote the construction of a modern agricultural powerhouse. The city has already established a comprehensive meteorological service system for agriculture and will continue to increase support, improve observation facilities, and promote the deep integration of meteorological science and technology with agriculture to empower specialty agriculture, ensure food security, and contribute to rural revitalization.
Chen Hongwei, Deputy Director of the Liaoning Provincial Meteorological Bureau, pointed out that meteorological services for agriculture are a key support for ensuring national food security, an important tool for promoting rural revitalization, and a vital task for improving the well-being of farmers. Since the beginning of this year, the Liaoning Provincial Meteorological Department has closely focused on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and the needs of high-quality agricultural development, exploring new connotations for agricultural services in this era, enhancing new system capabilities, creating new service models, and achieving new results in the construction of a new meteorological agricultural service system in Liaoning Province.
According to reports, Liaoning's meteorological agricultural services have transcended the single aspect of agricultural production support, deeply integrating into rural revitalization and the construction of a strong agricultural nation, extending to all areas of rural safety and farmers' income growth.
