Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 7th Shanghai International Art Fair, themed "Global Art Scene, Art Shanghai, Art for Life," opened on the 13th. More than 300 domestic and international art institutions, over 120 art events, and more than 10,000 outstanding artworks have jointly created a vibrant and interconnected super art platform throughout the city.
This year's fair is jointly hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism (Shanghai Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage), the People's Government of Xuhui District, Pudong New Area, Huangpu District, and Jing'an District. For the first time, a combined ticket for the three major art fairs during the fair has been launched, connecting the art extravaganza with urban life.
Among them, the West Bund Art & Design Fair, as one of Asia's most influential contemporary art fairs, continues to attract top global galleries while also building bridges for outstanding domestic galleries to directly engage with the international community; ART021 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair radiates from Shanghai to the world, building a multi-regional exchange platform; and the Shanghai Youth Art Fair focuses on the future of the industry, providing an important stage for young artists to enter the market.
This year's art fair also extended the art experience to business districts, streets, hotels, and cafes through collaboration among art consumption clusters such as "Art West Bund," "Art Bund," "Art Suzhou Creek," and "Art Pudong," creating a tangible, accessible, and consumable "art-enjoying lifestyle."
