Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Haikou Railway Section of Hainan Railway announced on the morning of November 4th that due to the impact of Typhoon Hagupit (No. 25 of this year), the railway department will adjust train operation schedules, and all trains to and from the island will be suspended on November 6th and 7th.

In response to the train suspensions, railway stations will increase service support, deploying additional staff at service counters and entrances to guide and assist passengers in need. The number of ticket refund and rescheduling windows will be dynamically increased to facilitate offline refund and rescheduling for passengers.

The railway department reminds passengers who have purchased tickets for cancelled trains that they can apply for a full refund within 30 days (including the date of travel) from the departure station printed on the ticket, through the 12306 website, mobile app, or railway station manual windows. No refund fee will be charged. (End)
