Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Fourth Session of the 12th Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened at the Ningxia People's Hall at 9:00 AM on February 2nd.
The meeting heard a work report from the Standing Committee of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region CPPCC and a report from the Standing Committee on the handling of proposals since the Third Session of the 12th CPPCC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee.
Reporters learned at the meeting that in 2025, the Ningxia CPPCC will contribute to deepening cooperation between Ningxia, Hong Kong, and Macao, co-organizing a Ningxia-Hong Kong economic and trade exchange and cooperation promotion conference and two Helan Mountain East Foothills wine and cultural tourism promotion and tasting events in Hong Kong and Macao, resulting in 46 signed projects totaling 4.52 billion yuan; and facilitating the joint application by Ningxia University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University for the Ministry of Education's "Ten Thousand Talents Program," marking a new starting point for Ningxia-Hong Kong-Macao cooperation.
In 2025, the Ningxia CPPCC, together with various democratic parties, the Federation of Industry and Commerce, and non-party figures, conducted 28 joint research trips and 31 joint consultation activities. These parties submitted 160 proposals and 1,782 pieces of information reflecting public opinion. (End)
