An investigation revealed that Wang Lixia had lost her ideals and beliefs, betrayed her original aspirations and mission, seriously deviated from the "two safeguards," and outwardly complied with but inwardly defied the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, acting arbitrarily; she violated the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the Central Committee, improperly frequented private clubs, accepted banquets and travel arrangements that could affect the impartial performance of her official duties, improperly borrowed vehicles from those she managed and served, and indulged in vanity and pleasure; she violated organizational principles, failed to report personal matters as required, did not truthfully explain issues during organizational inquiries, and sought benefits for others in cadre selection and appointment, accepting bribes in return; she breached the bottom line of integrity, improperly accepted gifts, and had others pay expenses that she should have paid herself; she improperly interfered in judicial activities; she had an improper family style, failing to supervise and educate her family members; and she used her position to seek benefits for others in project approvals and engineering contracting, illegally accepting huge amounts of money.

Wang Lixia seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, she did not restrain herself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making her actions serious in nature and having a negative impact, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and review by the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, it was decided to expel Wang Lixia from the Party; the National Supervisory Commission will dismiss her from public office; her qualifications as a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 11th Party Congress of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will be terminated; her illegal gains will be confiscated; and her suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well.
