  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Fourth Session of the 13th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region CPPCC convened on February 3. Reporters learned at the meeting that the Inner Mongolia CPPCC received 1,190 proposals in 2025, of which 893 were accepted, representing an acceptance rate of 75.04%.

  "Among them, 670 were proposals from individual members, accounting for 75.03%, and 233 were collective proposals, accounting for 24.97%. The proposals were handled by 111 units, including the autonomous region's party and government departments, leagues and cities, and relevant central government agencies stationed in the region, with a response rate of 99.2%," introduced Qiqige, Vice Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region CPPCC.

  The report on the handling of proposals at the Fourth Session of the 13th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region CPPCC mentioned that 187 proposals, accounting for 20.94%, focused on building a model autonomous region in all aspects, ranking first among accepted proposals. These included suggestions on building a strong teaching staff, creating a conducive educational environment in schools, and promoting unity and progress among all ethnic groups through cultural and tourism development.

  "162 proposals, accounting for 18.14%, focused on strengthening the efficient utilization of water resources in the Hetao Irrigation Area, promoting forestry and grassland carbon sequestration, photovoltaic desertification control, and basic grassland protection, all centered around building an important ecological security barrier in northern my country," said Qiqige. Among these, suggestions on establishing and improving cross-regional joint prevention and control mechanisms for ecological restoration were incorporated into the "Framework Agreement on Joint Prevention and Control of Desertification in Inner Mongolia and Gansu and Key Ecological Governance Projects such as the 'Three-North' Area" and the "Framework Agreement on Joint Prevention and Control of Desertification in Inner Mongolia and Ningxia and Key Ecological Governance Projects such as the 'Three-North' Area."

  In addition, there were 91 proposals on building a security and stability barrier in northern China, 141 proposals on building a national important energy and strategic resource base, 115 proposals on building a national important agricultural and livestock product production base, and 95 proposals on building an important bridgehead for my country's opening up to the north. 102 proposals also covered livelihood issues such as education, healthcare, employment, and elderly care.
