The Malaysia-Vietnam Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference and Food Festival attracted more than 1,000 visitors.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – August 18th marked the final day of the Malaysia-Vietnam Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference and Food Festival. Hundreds of tourists visited the “MyTOWN Shopping Centre” to learn about tourism between the two countries and Vietnamese cuisine.

  According to a report by the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Kuala Lumpur, the event, jointly organized by the Malaysia-Vietnam Business Association and DANG Production Bhd, Malaysia, featured 50 booths, including 40 food booths and 10 tourism information booths.

  The organizing committee revealed that by noon on August 18th, the event had attracted over 1,000 visitors.

  Previously, Muhammad Zaki Talib, representative of the Malaysian Tourism Board, stated that the event not only highlighted the close relationship between Malaysia and Vietnam but also demonstrated a commitment to sharing information to promote economic, cultural, and social relations. The event provided opportunities for both countries to explore cooperation in various fields while showcasing their respective multiculturalism.

  Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Le Phu Cuong reiterated the necessity for businesses from both countries to share their vision for friendly relations, expressing hope that similar activities would deepen bilateral ties and lay the foundation for cooperation in trade, tourism, and investment.

  The Malaysia-Vietnam Trade Promotion and Food Festival was held in Kuala Lumpur from August 15th to 18th. (End)
