After the bridges are completed, the logistics corridor from Mawlamyine in Mon State to the Dawei Special Economic Zone and deep-sea port in Tanintharyi Region, and the Thilawa Special Economic Zone in Yangon, will be smooth and efficient. It will also further strengthen the connectivity between the East-West Economic Corridor and neighboring countries such as Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand, laying a solid foundation for regional cooperation.
Following the ceremony, Prime Minister U Nyunt Soe held a meeting with officials from various departments at the Mon State Government Office, engaging in in-depth exchanges on regional development planning and coordinating solutions to current development needs and key issues.
