Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Recently, three major cultural and tourism sites in Kon Plông commune, Quang Ngai province, Vietnam—Kon Plông Community Tourist Village, Dong Truong Son Tea Farm, and Dong Truong Son Culture and Food Space—officially opened to the public simultaneously. This is the first key initiative of Kon Plông commune to promote the development of its cultural and tourism industry, fully leveraging the resource endowment and development advantages of its highland region.

Kon Plông Community Tourist Village is located along the Dong Truong Son highway, with 138 households and over 520 residents. Situated at an altitude of 1000 to 1500 meters in a highland area, the village enjoys a mild and pleasant climate and unique natural ecological landscapes, preserving the rich folk culture of the Mu Nam ethnic group (a branch of the Se Dang ethnic group). Visitors can immerse themselves in the unique folk culture, savor authentic mountain cuisine, and enjoy the pristine natural scenery. In addition, visitors can hike along a 1-kilometer terraced trail to explore the magnificent Sô Roách Waterfall deep into the mountains.

The Dong Changshan Pure Tea Farm, located within the Dong Changshan Tea Cooperative, is an eco-tourism destination integrating agriculture and tourism. Its opening has paved a new path for the local area to cultivate eco-tourism and develop agricultural experiential tourism, while also showcasing the rural landscape, cultural heritage, and distinctive agricultural products of Khun Prong to tourists from both within and outside the province.

The Dong Changshan Culture and Food Space, situated in Vi Choong Village along National Highway 24, showcases the traditional production and lifestyle customs of the Monan ethnic group: melodious and rustic gong and zither music, the unique Xoang folk dance performance, the rich and mellow mountain bamboo wine, exquisitely crafted brocade fabrics, auspicious spring-welcoming poles, and the grand and magnificent traditional dragon house, presenting a comprehensive view of the unique cultural charm of the ethnic minorities.

Dang Dinh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khun Phu Long Commune, explained that Khun Phu Long Commune is located in the heart of Quang Ngai Province, boasting a superior geographical location. Relying on the Violak Pass, it serves as a vital transportation hub connecting the eastern communes and special districts with the western communes.

Thanks to its advantageous transit location, Khun Phu Long has become an ideal destination for tourists traveling along the east-west route of Quang Ngai Province. Especially during the 51st anniversary of the liberation of the South and the International Labor Day holiday, it has attracted a large number of tourists.

Le Thi Phuong, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, said that on her first visit to Khun Phu Long, she was deeply attracted by its poetic mountain scenery, pristine and magnificent natural landscape, and cool and comfortable highland climate. Visiting the newly opened cultural and tourism attractions also allowed her and her companions to gain a deeper understanding of the local ethnic minority customs, distinctive cuisine, and traditional lifestyle.

According to the Kunpulong Commune People's Committee, the area possesses excellent potential for developing ecotourism and health resorts, boasting abundant cultural and tourism resources: Hơ Kook Waterfall, Sô Roách Waterfall, Kơi Hơ Ruông Waterfall Group, Thiên Tân Hydropower Station Reservoir, Ngọc Lu Hot Spring, Violak Cloud Sea Viewpoint, and Vi Chring Ancient Village, all well-preserved and retaining their original ecological charm.

In the future, the local government will continue to explore and integrate these high-quality cultural and tourism resources, carefully crafting distinctive tourism products to further enhance the appeal of the Kunpulong Changshan Plateau Ecological Folk Tourism brand. (End)
