  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Ministry of Tourism Office announced that His Excellency Minister of Tourism, Hukh, cordially invites you to chair a special meeting to discuss the operational mechanism and implementation procedures for a four-month visa-free entry pilot program for Chinese citizens, to be implemented in 2026.

  Attendees at the meeting include representatives from various sectors, including His Excellency Dr. Kelt Chantharit, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior; His Excellency Dr. Pampara, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance; His Excellency Lieutenant General Sokh Vesna, Director General of the General Department of Immigration; relevant leaders from the Ministry of Tourism; His Excellency Kim Min Na, Executive Director of the Central Tourism Authority; His Excellency Director General of the General Department of Experts; and experts from relevant fields in the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Interior, totaling approximately 20 participants.

  It is noteworthy that, according to Announcement No. 2070 issued by the Royal Government of Cambodia on December 2, 2025, Cambodia has officially approved the visa-free entry policy for Chinese citizens. The pilot program will run from June 15 to October 15, 2026. During this period, Chinese citizens can stay in Cambodia for up to 14 days without applying for a visa or paying any fees, simply by filling out an electronic arrival card. Multiple entries are permitted within the policy's validity period.

  The Ministry of Tourism anticipates that the implementation of this visa-free pilot program will further boost the number of Chinese tourists visiting Cambodia, helping Cambodia maintain its economic growth momentum during the peak tourist season from May to October 2026.
