Vietnamese tourists' interest in traveling to Japan and South Korea has increased significantly.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) reports that with the arrival of autumn foliage season, Vietnamese tourists' interest in traveling to Japan and South Korea continues to rise. According to search data from the digital travel platform Agoda, Vietnamese tourists' searches for travel to Japan and South Korea have increased significantly compared to the summer – South Korea saw a 55% increase, and Japan a 24% increase, a trend also reflected in changes in hotel booking searches.

  In South Korea, Vietnamese tourists' preference remains undiminished. Seoul and Busan remain the most popular destinations, with search volumes increasing by 63% and 67% respectively; Jeju Island, Incheon (up 29%), and Gyeongju (up 86%) follow closely behind, becoming popular choices for autumn foliage season.

  Japan's autumn foliage season is also attracting Vietnamese tourists. Tokyo tops the list with a 6% increase in searches, as tourists flock to admire the city center's vibrant autumn leaves; Osaka follows closely behind with a 30% increase in searches. In addition, Kyoto (up 73%), Fukuoka (up 28%), and Nagoya (up 36%) also ranked among the top five Japanese destinations searched by Vietnamese tourists in the fall.
