
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Phongsavan Group (PSVG) of Laos and the Organization of Zoos of Thailand have signed an agreement to cooperate on zoo tourism-related services in both countries.
Ms. Sengdao Bouphakonekham, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phongsavan Group, and Mr. Attapon Srihayrun, Director General of the Organization of Zoos of Thailand, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this cooperation at Khon Kaen Zoo in Thailand.
Ms. Daly Pholsena, Deputy Managing Director of Phongsavan Bank, and Ms. Tipawadee Kittikoon, Director of Khon Kaen Zoo, witnessed the signing of the MoU.
Ms. Sengdao stated that the MoU was signed based on mutual agreements reached by both parties and aims to provide mutual business support between Laos and Thailand, located on opposite banks of the Mekong River, particularly facilitating the increasing number of tourists and visitors.
For zoo tourists, customers can use the Hi App mobile banking application from Phongsavan Group at Khao Khoi Zoo, Chiang Mai Zoo, Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo, Songkhla Zoo, Ubon Ratchathani Zoo, and the Zoological Society of Thailand's Khon Kaen Zoo in Chonburi Province, Thailand.
In recent years, Phongsavan Bank, a subsidiary of the Phongsavan Group, has been developing and expanding its banking services in collaboration with Thai commercial banks such as Bangkok Bank, particularly in ATM withdrawals. She stated that the bank has also signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with hospitals in Udon Thani and Khon Kaen and maintains good relationships with institutions such as Khon Kaen University.
The signing of the MOU between the Thai Zoo Authority and the Phongsavan Group presents a good opportunity for the bank to expand its services, offer a wider and more diversified range of products and services, and build relationships with more business partners.
Ms. Sengdao hopes that the MOU will strengthen the good relationship between the Phongsavan Group and the Thai Zoo Authority, as well as between the two countries.
