Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On August 12, working delegations from the Vietnamese and Lao Ministries of National Defense inspected preparations for the second Vietnam-La Border Defense Friendship Exchange Activities in Moc Chau District, Son La Province, Vietnam, and Sop Pau District, Houaphan Province, Laos.
Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of National Defense, and Lieutenant General Vongkham Phommakone, Deputy Minister of National Defense of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, along with the working delegations from both Ministries of National Defense, directly inspected the preparations for related activities of the second Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Activities.
Both sides highly appreciated the proactive and enthusiastic preparations made by relevant units of the Ministries of National Defense of both countries for the second Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Activities.
General Hoang Xuan Chien and General Phong Kham Phongmagong emphasized that the second Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Activity will help foster close relations between the people of the two countries, especially those in the border regions, and enhance the sense of responsibility among the border guard forces of both countries to work together and coordinate effectively in protecting the border line and boundary markers, combating crime, helping people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and building a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative, and mutually beneficial Vietnam-Laos border.
Generals Hoang Xuan Chien and Phong Kham Phongmagong suggested that relevant units of the defense ministries of both countries continue to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility to ensure the timely and effective completion of preparatory work, contributing to the success of the second Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Activity.
The second Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Activity is expected to be held at the end of October this year in Moc Chau District, Son La Province, Vietnam, and Sop Pau District, Huaphan Province, Laos. (End)
