Governor Tunjan Manisei of the province pointed out that holding the "Working Conference on Eliminating Transnational Telecom Fraud Gangs" in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone is of great significance. To thoroughly eliminate transnational telecom fraud, with the support and cooperation of the Special Economic Zone developer, Golden Triangle Group, a joint central and local government operation was previously launched to crack down on illegal immigration, the absconding and hiding of foreign criminals, telecom fraud, and illegal vehicle imports. More than 240 fraud gangs have been dismantled, and 1,389 suspects from various countries have been detained and transferred. The next step will be for law enforcement personnel to continue implementing cleanup measures, enhancing the confidence of domestic and foreign tourists and investors, and promoting tourism and investment.

Chairman Zhao Wei of the Special Economic Zone Management Committee stated that the Management Committee and the developer, Golden Triangle Group, firmly support and respond to the government's call, closely cooperate in combating telecom fraud, and completely eliminate "illegal immigrants, fraud suspects, and online fugitives" without any leniency, restoring a harmonious and transparent environment to the Special Economic Zone.
