  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of July 31, Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, met with a delegation of senior Lao People's Revolutionary Party officials on a working visit to Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Santisouk Simmalavong, Vice Minister of Technology and Communications.

  Chairman Phan Van Mai stated that this visit contributed to further deepening practical cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; he believed that in the current complex global situation, Vietnam and Laos need to further strengthen cooperation. Ho Chi Minh City is willing to make positive contributions to consolidating, cultivating, and developing the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos through effective cooperation with various localities in Laos.

  Ho Chi Minh City hopes to promote opportunities for comprehensive cooperation with various localities in Laos. Building on the positive results of cooperation with Vientiane, Champasak, Savannakhet, and other localities, Ho Chi Minh City hopes that Laos will continue to attach importance to and promote economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people exchanges between Ho Chi Minh City and various localities in Laos.

  Mr. Santhisouk Simalavong, Deputy Minister of Technology and Communications of Laos, stated that the purpose of the working visit to Vietnam by the senior delegation of Lao People's Revolutionary Party officials was to exchange theoretical and practical experiences in management and socio-economic development.
