Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On November 13, 2025, Vu Ngoc Ly, Consul General of Vietnam in Luang Prabang, and his wife led a delegation on a friendly working visit to the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "Special Economic Zone") in Laos. Songsay Sousavat, Deputy Director of the Special Economic Zone's Administrative Authority, warmly received the delegation.
During the visit, the delegation inspected and visited important projects and facilities, including the Kapok Star Hotel, the International Street, the Golden Triangle International Border Crossing, the Golden Triangle Window Scenic Area, and the Golden Pagoda, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Special Economic Zone's current development and future plans.
Consul General Vu Ngoc Ly stated that the Special Economic Zone's achievements in economic development and regional cooperation were impressive. He pointed out that the Special Economic Zone has demonstrated enormous potential for comprehensive development in industry, trade, tourism, agriculture, and animal husbandry, and expressed his hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen the traditional friendship and pragmatic cooperation between Vietnam and Bokeo Province and the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone.
