Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Bangkok, March 19, 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced that the 44th Tourism Thailand Festival (TTF 2026) will be held from March 25 to 29 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. This year's festival, themed "Honoring Queen Sirikit," will create a comprehensive tourism feast centered around the "Five Must-Dos in Thailand" (must-try, must-experience, must-buy, must-see, must-explore), while continuing the fourth year of its "Zero Waste Landfill" sustainability goal, solidifying its position as a flagship domestic tourism platform.

TAT Governor Thapane Kitapappur stated that the festival encapsulates the essence of Thai tourism, highlighting the Queen Mother's contributions to cultural heritage and community development, and showcasing local flavors, handicrafts, hidden gems, and cultural feasts through the "Five Must-Dos" framework, promoting tourism and sustainable development in tandem. Deputy Director Apichawat Jacchai Runji added that the nine exhibition areas offer diverse perspectives for travel inspiration, connecting culture, cuisine, entertainment, and environmental concepts. A quick overview of the core exhibition areas: Five Regional Villages: Covering the entire East, Northeast, South, Central, and North, each focusing on coastal adventure, Esan folklore, marine life, historical agriculture, and Lanna culture, featuring specialty foods, handicraft markets, themed photo spots, and folk performances. Some areas recreate the atmosphere of famous tourist attractions and food centers. Amazing Thailand Zone: Featuring digital experiences, AI interaction, a 66th-anniversary retrospective exhibition, including a Lisa-themed photo area and fan meet-and-greets, providing travel information and unique experiences. Sustainable Development Zone: Centered around a turtle sculpture made from recycled materials, promoting the concept of upgrading and transforming, showcasing eco-tourism products and interactive workshops. Tourism Partner Zone: 31 organizations provide tourism services and specialty products, helping visitors gain a comprehensive understanding of Thailand's tourism ecosystem. Main Stage: Inspired by a lotus field, the main stage will host top-tier concerts, textile fashion shows, Muay Thai performances, and other core events. From March 27th to 29th, it will feature special performances such as the Queen of Tourism Competition and traditional comedy. This year's festival upholds its "zero waste to landfill" commitment, with 14 bilingual waste sorting stations and full recycling through supplier collaboration and visitor guidance. The event is free and open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM in Halls 1-4 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. It is accessible by MRT Blue Line to the same station or by bus route 136. Parking is available, and taxi and ride-hailing services are also provided.
