The event was a resounding success, attracting nearly 3 million domestic and international tourists.
Phnom Penh Municipality spokesperson, Ms. De Sopheak, stated that the Songkran celebrations were a tremendous success, showcasing the charm of Cambodian traditional culture and the vibrant energy of Phnom Penh. She said that the first day attracted approximately 480,000 tourists, rising to 800,000 on the second day, and reaching 1.5 million on the final day.

Ms. De Sopheak emphasized that the Phnom Penh Municipality attached great importance to the Songkran celebrations, making meticulous plans and arrangements to create a joyful, peaceful, and safe festive atmosphere for citizens and tourists. The diverse and engaging celebrations not only promoted Cambodian traditional culture but also injected new vitality into Phnom Penh's tourism industry.
