
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) reports that the three-day 9th Cambodian River Festival (21st-23rd) has successfully concluded, attracting a total of 358,994 domestic and international tourists, including 357,966 domestic tourists and 1,028 international tourists.

This year's festival featured a rich and diverse program, including 10 sports and entertainment activities such as a 1200-meter race, badminton, chess, Cambodian boxing, football, bowling, kayaking, paragliding, traditional folk games, and the release of 500 floating lanterns. Visitors actively participated in the various activities, fully experiencing the charm of Cambodian traditional culture and sports.

Cambodia has successfully hosted the River Festival nine times to date, with previous festivals held in Kratie (2015), Kampong Cham and Tbong Khmum (2016), Stung Treng (2017), Kandal (2018), Kampong Chhnang (2019), Battambang (2020), Kampong Thom (2023), Siem Reap (2024), and Takeo (2025). The River Festival aims to promote domestic tourism in Cambodia and showcase the natural scenery and cultural characteristics of each province.
